Venus
The next planet on our list, Venus. Once again, I have an easy version and a tougher version for the older kids.
Mercury
I am starting a new project for science. The kids not only made the solar system hats, but now are learning all about each planet. They will have their own little booklet by the end. I also have included some videos the kids can watch about Mercury:

Solar System Hat
We had so much fun with this one. We cut black construction paper in half and let the kids color white stars all over it. Then we glued it to the size of their heads and they cut out the planets and glued them in order around the hat with the sun in front. My kids wore them until the hats wore out. I had no idea they would be such a hit!
